![]() This prevents bottlenecks that can keep finished goods from getting from the places they're produced to the places where they're sold to consumers. The newest expansion for Cities: Skylines called Industries was announced on 11th of October 2018, and we are happy to tell you fellow city-builders all about it. ![]() Commercial zones should be transport-accessible in the most efficient ways possible. But I am still just drowning in the complexity of this game, and struggling to understand how to integrate/fit it all into the map, and make it work & organized. Your resources are going to determine where your industrial zones are in this brave new Skylines world, which means that everything else you're going to be building is going to be in service of your industries. I also put a storage facility (silo for example) in the specialized industry so the farms do not use all of their trucks and a warehouse between the specialized industry and the generic industry. I do the same thing with generic industry and a goods warehouse. This way, the bakery does not use all of it's trucks delivering to the city or exporting. When this happens, the bakery delivers the Luxury Goods to the warehouse and then the warehouse delivers the Luxury Goods to the city. Use some high-density residential or commercial zoning. Also, it will be used by citizens to get to the business area on foot. ![]() ![]() Originally posted by Typoknig:What I do is that near the bakery I have a silo and 2 warehouses (Animal Products and Flour) and then between the bakery and the city, I put a warehouse for "Luxury Goods". It will add some foliage to your concrete jungle.
